It's all for Peace

The spaces I create have nothing to do with weapons and war.
They are not about minimalism or monk-living (unless those are topics you bring to the table).

Yet they all serve one thing - our capacity for peace - within us and between us.

Peace for me, is not a middle way. It’s a radical stance. It is not free of friction or divergence or nuance. Nor is it void of joy and desire. Rather, it is a place where all of it gets to exist, free of judgement - or attachment. Peace is where there can be conflict and dissonance and disagreement, without disconnect or erasure. Peace is where the way we value ourselves is through integrity and contribution, not narcissistic entitlement, oppression and violence. Peace is the desire to build from the rubble, rather than avenge it. A creation that doesn’t negate the need for cycles to end. A co-creation that centres our humanity (all of ours) over our righteousness.

When I ask myself how I can best serve peace. The answer isn’t direct or obvious. I won’t be a full-time activist in this lifetime. And I won’t become a nun or move to an ashram. Though - I always leave my mind open to be changed.

Weaving this response is much more intricate. I may still march the street, and donate to causes. But my biggest way to serve Peace is by giving generously of what I do best. Building spaces to shift, to expand, to imagine different - and to always, always centre the magic of our own humanity.

The paths I take are never singular or monotonous. They celebrate complexity, they ask for awareness, they demand accountability, they encourage action, they invite deep connection. My work is full of doubt and grey-scale, loaded with questions, steeped in the intention to - above all - centre impact over ego. And they all build on our ability to create. To co-create. To re-generate.

Stepping into a space with me, is committing to be with all of that - to feed and grow our ability to create differently, create authentically, create with our humanity intact. And ultimately, to choose to act Peace.

Helping more of us do that. That is my reason.

I invite you to play and create.

My method - is different.
The combination of peaceful expansion and bold creation asks for one thing - play and creativity.

Play is a bridge.

It calls us to engage. To connect our dreams with the possibilities of the present. It helps us translate imagination into action. Or transform ideas into poems or games or artwork. It turns vague visions into parties and products. Or grand intentions into conversations and workshops.

This is the beauty it offers.

It is not about childlike instincts or diminishing ourselves. It is about shifting the focus from succeeding and producing to exploring, finding and (co-)creating. About going beyond what feels normal, safe and predictable, without straining ourselves or shutting down. It is about finding the places where the stakes are low enough, but the stretch is exciting enough for us to move, evolve and do new things.

Where we feel curious and challenged - not intimidated and at risk - that is where we access deeper and more authentic layers of being. And develop practices that last.

My way of encouraging this is varied and flexible. Because it depends on you.
But what you will always find in session with me is:

  • Inquiry and guidance for self inquiry
I inquire with enthusiasm and curiosity about the world, other people and the world within them and I invite you to do the same.
  • Activation of senses
I see possibility for shifts and expansion with ease and I don’t shy away from taking on the unconventional (or emotional...or uncomfortable) perspective - or road - to uncover it. Be it breath, art or thought-twisting.
  • Returning to self
I believe in the innate and infinite potential you hold and I invite you to connect to it - through body, soul and mind - and interact with what is there.

In our time together, my aim is to meet you - and hold space for you to see yourself in all your truth and magic. To explore, feel and heal - here and now. And find your recipe to live and create from a place of anchoring and fulfilment.

The path I've walked

I can call myself a Creation Catalyst, a Doula for bold vision, a guide to connect within. An explorer, a space-holder, and occasional poet. But above all, I am human.

And none of these labels will ever tell the full story. I’ve always found labels constraining and oddly limiting. Always asked people to share their own story instead of placing them into buckets myself. Celebrating that we are forever changing and evolving.

I grew up bilingual and bicultural. Bouncing between cultures and contexts. Never one thing. Whether alone or together, I was never bored. There was not a day where I wasn’t stretching my imagination and finding opportunities for creativity. Seeing beyond the known and into the core. Making something out of nothing.

I travelled the world early. Worked on a cruise ship, was an Au-Pair in France, studied in London. Studied hard, worked even harder. Performed amazingly. So amazingly that I burnt out in my 20ies. Moved back home. Never stopped. Championed the human. Advocated our potential. Fought for softness and understanding. Never gave it to myself.

It was an uphill battle for the most part - screaming human in systems that teach us to reduce our humanity. That tell us intuition makes us impulsive, that rest makes us weak, that conformity will grant us belonging. That our abilities only matter when they can be translated into money. That there is only one type of intelligence that has value.

I’ve done plenty of things that may impress you. Run projects. Had titles. Climbed ladders. Sat in rooms attempting to consolidate the narratives of human and business. Helped people innovate and create. Written the big strategies. Fought for budgets. Built tools, contexts and cultures for people to thrive at work. Facilitated development for leaders and teams.

But none of that is what I am most proud of.

It is that I always found ways to use my creativity and invite others to do the same.

It is that I never lost my belief in our humanity and our magic. And that I also decided to honour my own.

That I dared be the rebel and the pain in the ass, even when it made people uncomfortable - even when it made me uncomfortable.

Alongside my work, life was always poetry. Diving deep. Feeling it all. To grow, to expand. Finding new angles in myself and my relationships. Learning to breathe. Guiding the breath. Almost two decades of soul-connecting, healing, listening within. Not always gracefully, but always with curiosity.

So it is no accident, that my work does not choose one method or lens - in it I bring together an eclectic mix of tools and perspectives on human evolution, learning, wellbeing, healing and creativity. To serve you. Your creations. Your visions for change. Your experience of being you.

Welcome.

And if you want to catch my experiences courses and conversations in more detail. You can find that here below.

Conversations are magic. And I've both been a guest and a host to many podcast conversations on a variety of topics. If you want to dive into some of the magic I've been part of before - have a look and pick your flavour below.

Most of my greatest teachers have not been the chosen and paid-for courses. They have been moments in life. People I love. Experiences I've had (that I asked for and that I didn't). And then I have of course also learnt a lot of great things. Like how to facilitate. Breathwork healing (steps 1-3) through onfoing study with Michelle Baker and David Elliot. Neuroperspectives on change - and what happens to our nervoussystem in spaces that are transforming with Eva Hamboldt. Purpose and Values in action with Mia Ekman. Creating Meaningful Team Journeys with Magnus Grönblad. Being human in an Exponential reality with Singularity U Nordic (now Re-humanize institute). Immersion in Human Centered and experience design together with bright colleagues like the brilliant Jenny Markstedt.

Many things never make it onto a CV. The absolute rollercoaster of mothering (and trying to do it well). The experience of meeting the world on tiny scale on a cruise-ship and learning about the injustices of the world. The bravery of caring for someone else's child in a language other than your own. Moving to three different countries alone and setting up a life - each time in a new language. Starting a company and a community and going through the process of folding it to follow what felt more true. The list goes on. You can find a more formalised list of my experiences on my LinkedIn, but remember...they are only part of the story.
